Coaching Centres and Skill Centres
Skill Enhancement Centres
Enhancement of the employability of graduates and their ability to deliver to the industry expectations after they are hired has been a matter of concern throughout the country. Hence, with a motive to engage the attention of academics and industry alike on this issue, Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University) has started several Skill Enhancement Centres. These Centres cater towards the holistic development of students.
The training through these Centres helps the students to develop skills that will help them connect with the industry before they step into employment. Providing such training would have twin benefits - firstly, the students will be well-prepared to enter the job market, which will positively impact their productivity at the workplace, and secondly, companies will be spared the huge amounts of investments required on pre-employment training, especially in areas like soft skills.
In a multipronged approach, Centres like Employability and Corporate Relations, Civil Services Coaching, NET / SET Training, Language Learning and other Professional/ Entrepreneurial enhancement centres focus on improving the overall quality of students.
Centre for Professional Studies
The Centre for Professional Studies was established with the objective of providing value based quality education to the B.Com and BBA students who want to pursue professional courses. It is a platform to prepare for the entry level exams of Company Secretaryship and Chartered Accountancy. The Centre facilitates training to enable students to become members of Professional Bodies – Institute of Chartered Accountant of India (ICAI) and Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) in the future.
