Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University) officially inaugurated its flagship International Conference on Global Resilience, Emerging Technologies, and Sustainable Futures. The multi-day international summit convenes over 450 distinguished scholars, policy analysts, delegates, and corporate leaders representing 18 countries.

The opening session commenced with an inspiring ceremonial address by the Vice Chancellor, who highlighted the indispensable role of higher education institutions in pioneering interdisciplinary research that directly addresses complex socioeconomic and environmental challenges.

Keynote speaker Dr. Helen Vance from the Global Innovation Council presented groundbreaking insights on integrating generative artificial intelligence with climate-resilient urban infrastructure. 'Higher education must transcend disciplinary silos to equip the next generation with systemic problem-solving capabilities,' Dr. Vance stated during her plenary lecture.

Over the course of three days, delegates will participate in 24 technical paper presentation tracks, exploring specialized domains such as quantum data security, sustainable financial modeling, regenerative agriculture, and digital health governance. More than 150 peer-reviewed papers selected from 600 submissions will be published in Scopus-indexed research journals.

The conference also features an interactive Innovation Expo showcasing student-driven research prototypes, including automated flood warning systems and low-cost bio-sensors developed in the university's multidisciplinary incubation laboratories.

Looking forward, the university signed five strategic Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with international research institutions to facilitate joint faculty exchange programs, collaborative doctoral supervision, and shared supercomputing access.
