Admission of  International Students

Kristu Jayanti provides a vibrant campus which blends diverse cultures across the globe. We welcome students from other countries to experience this cultural contrast. There has been an incremental growth in the number of International students over these years. The diaspora of students at Kristu Jayanti is enriched with students from countries like Dar Es Salaam, Iran, Ivory Coast, Nepal, Republic of Korea, Tanzania, Thailand, Congo, Nigeria, Cameroon, Saudi Arabia, Yemen and many more. Programmes offered at present are available to all International students and when they seek admission in the institution, subject to the guidelines of University and AICTE.


Admission Procedures for International Students

Register Online

  1. Applicants are requested to apply online through the college website or can come in person to fill the application form in the college office itself. Applicants are requested to provide valid e-mail id and further communication will be done through this mail id only till the admission process is over. More details regarding online application can be found in 'online application' page.
  2. Details of each course, Admission Process, Eligibility Criteria & Fee Structure can be seen against the admission page link of each program.

Bona fide Certificate

College will issue Bona fide certificate to foreign national students to apply for visa only after the admission process is over. Those who are in absentia have to send the translated copy of their marks card, copy of their passport and first year tuition fee to get the bona fide certificate. But admission to such students will be conditional until they enroll the college in time with all original documents and approved by the Principal.


Admission

Admission process and eligibility criteria stipulated for Indian applicants are applicable to foreign national applicants also. Besides, admission to all foreign national students are reserved until:

  • They submit all relevant original documents
  • Get eligibility certificate from Bangalore University
  • Get the equivalence certificate from the AIU

Equivalence Certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU)

To obtain equivalence certificate the following documents copies along with the prescribed fee should be sent to address given below. Applicants can apply directly to get certificate from AIU or can be done through college office.

What should I do if my final results are awaited while filling out the qualifying exam details in the application form?

If your final results are awaited, select the result status as “AWAITED”.

Undergraduate Programme Applicants:

Fill in the marks for Class 10, Class 11, and Class 12 (if results are declared). If Class 12 results are awaited, provide the institution name and leave the marks section pending. Update the details once results are declared.

Postgraduate Programme Applicants:

Provide the semester-wise marks (minimum of two years or four semesters) of your Undergraduate Programme.

I don’t have an Aadhaar Card. How should I fill the Aadhaar number section in the application form?

  • Aadhaar number is mandatory to approve admissions under Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University).
  • Apply for an Aadhaar card and provide the acknowledgment number from the application form.
  • For foreign nationals, Aadhaar is not mandatory; instead, provide your passport number.

What should I do if the payment is debited from my account, but the application form is not generated?

  • Send an email to admission@kristujayanti.com with your transaction details.
  • Emails are responded to in the order they are received. Expect a response within two working days, though it may vary depending on the email volume.

What should I do if my school does not conduct board exams for Class 11?

If your school does not conduct Class 11 board exams, you can provide details of the term examinations conducted by the school and upload a scanned copy of the progress report issued by the school.
